Jennifer Esposito Turns HEADS With Swimsuit Photo

Jennifer Esposito recently shared how a “Harvey Weinstein-esque” producer tried to sabotage her early acting career.

During an appearance on the She Pivots podcast, the Blue Bloods actress recounted how this “notorious, brutal” figure fired her from a project without cause, replacing her with someone else, and subsequently blacklisted her in Hollywood by spreading false rumors that she was a drug addict.

This led to her being dropped by her agency and struggling to find work for over two years. Reflecting on that difficult time, Esposito described it as devastating, as the producer wielded his power to “kill” the career of a young actress with big dreams. Despite the setbacks, Esposito’s experiences ultimately inspired her to write, direct, and star in her recent directorial debut, *Fresh Kills*, which she says was made for the “26-year-old kid who got slaughtered” by the industry.

The film, released on June 14, centers on a woman in a Staten Island crime family during the late 1980s.
